The Diary Game || 31-03-24 || Capturing moments in a get-together party/football match

Dear Diary,
It was another day to capture moments based on my fulfilling work and it was the last Sunday and day of the month. So my friends thought of organising a get-together party to bring ourselves together and enhance the unity of the congregation. It was more of a football game while the get-together party was secondary as the case was. This party is done every last Sunday of the month to keep us fit, encouraged, energised and also social. It was one of the best days of the month for me.

On a Sunday morning, I did the needful as usual. Preparing to attend a meeting by 7Am was our major or priority so to speak. I took to preparing so I would arrive there's in time as it was already getting brighter. Getting there and receiving the spiritual encouragement and lecture on the resurrection of the dead was more intriguing than I could ever imagine. It gave me hope that one day, I would see my dead loved one being brought back to life.

After the encouraging lecture, I took to capturing some moments before embarking on preparations for the get-together party we had in the evening. Preparations were made on item 6 which included;

• palm wine
• groundnut and cucumbers
• soft drinks
• biscuits etc

These were the things we actually budgeted. We wanted to pipe low, on soft as playing ball was the major concern. I then headed for home to prepare, eat and then dress up for the big photographing event. In no time, I found myself leaving for the venue which was A big field where ballers and other sporters come to carryout various activities.. There was an intra match that Sunday, so the big field was set aside for these players while we were given a medium field to carryout our activities.

The gate fee was just #2500 naira only which we paid as it was even cheaper compared to some other places. Before entering the football arena, I took to satisfying myself a bit as I was hungry. I bought some cucumbers and watermelon to quench my thirst and hunger. They were more like appetizers. I then captured the sun as it was giving its sunset light. Nothing fascinates me more than sunset pictures.

On entering the field with my friend, i met a Steemian who also came to be entertained and he is in the person of @kidi40. I also captured the ongoing football match against two villages. Everyone were looking for their mobile photographer which happens to be me and on arriving where was allocated to us, I heard screams.......BOSSJ**

I started my photographing by capturing the children I met on my way to the allocation point. These children were occupied with entertaining themselves. These are pictures of the kids I captured before going into the field to display my talent. The pictures are just giving....

After capturing them, I stumbled on **their mentor which took up the responsibility in showing them how to move their bodies or dance. These are pictures of her and her friend trying to show them some dancing steps and also entertained them with the big music box they covered the whole area.

Entering the field, majority were happy that their photographer has come to stay. They were asking all around for me and I was there to go the needful. I started with videoing the scene which was just too funny to comprehend. The game play wasn't about infemales against males but was about shared play, putting or balancing females on both sides of the match.

I used songs related to the football match so the vibes would be retained. I also ensured I videoed every part of the game play. Both teams were strong no doubt and did their best to nail whatever comes their way. I had never been expectant that the people I thought couldn't were the ones who did more than was expected. I then captured them when they had a break. These are the strong ladies that nailed the match.

When the match was over, I took to capturing them individually to show who was responsible for saving the ball, striking, entertaining the players, defending the ball, and assisting in goals. The following pictures shows this.......

The match did come to a halt and one of the teams won the other with 2 goals. Champion songs were played for these ones to celebrate their wins. The photographer @bossj23 was on board. I did the needful and also brought a concept that favours couples. I took photographs of all the couples present and this is shown in the pictures below.

After capturing these couples and their beautiful moments, I captured everyone they came on board. They were really skillful in their play I must admit. Although tired, they were energised with the supplies that was on board.

A lot were brought to the field which includes biscuits, palm wine, hot drinks, soft drinks, cassava and groundnuts, egg rolls and lot more. Drinks was in excess that it reached everyone thrice. I was so busy developing concepts that I didn't have much time to sort things out for my stomach. My phone felt the heat of it already. The day was really photographic

I went home feeling so exhausted but had a class that night. The class was on how steemians can become effective on steemit as their major challenge was not getting support. I was in charge of the class, so I made use of appealing illustrations that would help them remain consistent on the platform without giving up.

I cited the example of a content creator on Facebook named Jadrolita. Who knew that girl before now? Nobody, but she thought of doing something that would change her life. She didn't want to venture into comedy like the other content creators. She thought of something different and did it differently. Because of that, she earned the popularity of the net in general.

_Can you be different from other steemians if the results you're getting for hardwork is negative?.

Another instance is the illustration of a business man who didn't see sales for good two weeks. Instead of him assuming its normal, he thought of improving in areas he felt he was lagging behind. He didn't close down the shop because of this. He only worked at ensuring he becomes the best of himself. Same with steemit.

You may not be seeing votes but that doesn't mean you should quit. Creating contents today and then waiting for the next 5 days before you create another may be one of the reasons you're not seeing support.

• Patient
• Check the quality of your posts and improve on them if you're lagging and do what positive things others aren't doing.
