I can only ride a bicycle but not a car, cycling was a great hobby for me, although it is not done much anymore. I acquired this skill of riding a bicycle when I was a child, when I was in class two. At that time, I did not have a bicycle like other children of my age, the main reason for this was my father's concern. He considered cycling quite risky and feared that various accidents could occur in it, due to this fear, he used to tell me to refrain from riding a bicycle.

But is it easy to suppress my childhood hobby? Despite my father's prohibition, I secretly started learning to ride a bicycle. There was a bicycle shop near our house, from where bicycles could be rented, I used to save my tiffin money or earn some money in some other way every day and rent a bicycle from that shop. In the beginning, it was very difficult for me to sit on the bicycle and maintain balance, I used to fall down repeatedly and get pain in my hands and feet, but I did not give up. Slowly I learned to control the bicycle. First for a short time, then gradually I could ride a bicycle for long distances. Interestingly, after I met many other kids in the area, they started renting bicycles, but I was the first to learn to ride a bicycle. After learning to ride a bicycle, I didn't have a bicycle of my own, so I had to rent one secretly sometimes. I don't feel the joy of riding a bicycle that much anymore these days, as life has become busier, that passion has also diminished. But even today, I can ride a bicycle, and whenever I get a chance, I try to revive old memories.

I have a clear opinion on the debate between learning to ride a bike and learning to drive a car, although I have not driven a car myself, based on my cousin's experience, I can say that learning to drive a car is easier than riding a bike. There are a few important reasons behind this :

Balance : The biggest challenge in learning to ride a bike is maintaining balance, as a bike has two wheels, just sitting on it is a big test in the beginning. A new rider has to learn the technique of falling over and maintaining balance first, a process that can be quite time-consuming and difficult. On the other hand, since a car has four wheels, there is no question of balance. This fundamental challenge is completely absent in learning to drive a car.

Confidence : According to my brother, learning to drive a car depends entirely on confidence. He improved a lot in driving in just four-five days. He says that once you overcome your fear and gain confidence, learning to drive a car becomes very fast and easy. In cycling, you need to focus on balance along with physical skills, which makes the learning process a bit complicated.

Control and safety : A car is a stable vehicle, with control systems such as brakes and steering that are more advanced and easier to use. Car brakes are much more effective than those of a bicycle, allowing for quick stopping in the event of a sudden danger. In addition, the structure surrounding the car protects the driver from external impacts.
