Preamble

As a lover of writing from personal experiences and observations, this publication is one and base on the current situation my country Nigeria is experiencing, a very dirty deity game being played on a daily.

"While eating groundnut, we discuss about groundnut."

This is a very popular adage from where I come from. The interpretations for the purpose of this publication will be that, 'we talk about what's bothering us when it's bothering us'.

About Nigeria's forthcoming general elections

Nigeria's general elections is fast approaching as we all can see, the " #NigeriaDecide " hashtag is already trending. Just 4 months left for the patriotic citizens of Nigeria to go out and exercise their franchise. They'll decide those that will govern them for another 4 years, this isn't a joke to us and should be taken super serious. One good reason I convinced myself to write on this topic.

Election shouldn't be an era of war as portrays by most corrupt politicians whose primary aim is to win by all means for their own selfish interest. To them they are ever ready to do anything to win if it means taking someone's life. Just few days ago we read on news how the immediate past president of the country Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was advising citizens to not vote for killers in 2023 elections as reported by Premium Times Nigeria newspaper.

"Those who carries knives and guns to kill people in the name of politics are the enemies of the society" so he said. He lingered that

“If you kill to become a leader, you will continue to kill to remain a leader and the people will continue to suffer.”
GEJ

As obvious as it is, it's also most convincing that he has been in the system and knows better.

Nigeria politics as a deity game

The so-called giant of Africa has been a mess over the hands of deity game players over the years. I know less or nothing about how politics is being played in other countries (in other not to complicate things) but at least I've known much if not very well how it's being played here in Nigeria.

There will be no better definition of "Nigerian politics" as a game being played by two types of people who call themselves politicians; the dead-mindeds and the double-mindedd.

These set of people play their deity game over people they termed as primates in a zoological park refers to as the country they're heading. To them, having less concern, caring less about these primates is a norm. Sad.

Because their minds are corrupt to the core, the innocent borns can be easily influenced. Following leader's footsteps has been a normal thing from day one which is why it can never be their fault.
Now other reason why it's a deity game is that, it's a game that force it's inferior members to dance to whatever tone being played even when it's not their favorites.

My worries over Peon politicians

According to the Nigerian National Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) timetable, the official campaigns will commence tomorrow the 28th of September, just 150 days before the election day. During this period there are some persons who are wholeheartedly submissive to their principals, they are called the campaign manager/organisers or campaign spokesperson or of similar sorts.

These guys are the used and being used ones by their principals. Out of these guys comes party thugs, some their job is to convince people to vote for their candidates. In the course of convincing, bribing is as well a norm to them from the little they've received from their principals. Maybe it's not a problem to me yet anyway.

Now my biggest worries is the fact that they go about shielding their principals opponents. I pray this should stop.
"With their masters, they are covered" this is what they do much believe in, therefore going about insulting other candidates and their followers.

I've come across these and several social media posts and comments from these people which I termed as peon politicians insulting their rivals and it's just sad and need to stop.

These guys go about insulting people with the biggest grammar they've never uttered out since graduation. I wonder if they imagine their candidates losing the election at all, where will they hide away from shame and for safety then? Meanwhile their principals unite hereafter and move on with their selfish political life.

For me, this act of beefing people because of my principal who's likely to forget about me,
This act of creating enmity among people,
Thi act of self-limiting my rights,
Those shits are simply beyond me bro.

Summary/Conclusion

Finally, as per the country's challenges, citizens ought not to be blamed.

Nigerians did no wrong in voting the current government into power of course their needed the best for themselves, better than what the previous government was giving which is why they decided to change government.

My kind advice is for my fellow citizens to go get their Private Voters Card so as to vote for whom they deems fit of running the almost-collapsed country.

God Bless Nigeria my country
God Bless all patriotic citizens of Nigeria
