Weekly iTeach Contest: Mobile App Features for more Productivity.

Hello everyone, how are you doing, I believe everyone is doing great in this community, and here is my participation to the iTeach weekly contest, and on this edition, I shall discuss about a mobile app that many might be familiar with, and it's a must important app to have on your phone for safety and security.

The name of the Mobile application I shall like to share in this Feature is the Google Authenticator App, this is a must app for everyone and it's basically for security purpose, this comes in handy and it's best if everyone on the crypto space can have it.

I learnt about the Google Authenticator App when my wallets got wiped, it was until then I realized that I need to introduce more safety to my funds, which in this kind, the theft wouldn't have occur hardly been I had enable the 2-FA.

This is used for 2 factor authentication, whereby when you plan to make any transactions or any Crypto movement, you need authentication from this app which will give you a code before the assest could be released, and what this basically means is that even when a theft penetrate your account or your wallet, they won't have the access to move any funds or else they get the authentication from the app which is not possible unless you permitted it yourself.

This mobile application belongs to crypto and security section, and it can as well be downloaded from Playstore or Apple Store.

Just like I had said earlier, the application is a must have for security purpose, it's for verification of ownership, and whenever you need to access any of your account, you definitely have to get authentication from this app before you can have access to your account, this is one of the top security application and it's best when you encrypt all your assets with it , it's mostly safe and there's no third party app monitoring it.

This is one of the best security application that even top exchanges advices users to make use of , it's used to secure users assets and in this case, even when you get hacked, your assets are still safe in as long as the perpetrator doesn't have access to your goggle authentication.

Every Minutes Password

The application provides top security for device, and it does this in a way that it changes the password security on account every Minutes, this are generated random security numbers that nobody could have guess right, and each password changes every single minute giving more credibility to the protection.

When the authentication finishes, the application auto generates new ones and it gives users New password for their confirmation.

You have to go to your application settings to enable this security on your phone, when you do that, for every transactions you intend to carry, the authentication will be required from time to time, and the transactions won't pass through unless it passed the authentication test.

As seen in the case of the picture above was when I was trying to access a withdrawal, but since I have enabled the 2-FA, the withdraw has to passes the authentication first before it can be completed, and this is one of the best way in security our devices from theft.

Have you compared this feature with other Apps in the same category before? Which one and what distinguishes both? (ease of accessibility, additional features, etc).

Yes, I have compared the goggle authentication security with others, as in the case of email or sms verification when withdrawing assets, the email verification code could last for about 5 min, but it's not in the same case as Google Authenticator, this expires every minutes and also for the fact that you are solely the one controlling the application yourself, which means you have the full power of control over it.

And adding to that, you don't have to wait for the verification messages as you can Acces them yourself, instead of waiting for the exchanges or the application sending you the verification code, you can simply do it yourself and it's more secure that way, and the unique part of it is that, it can't be hacked, it can only be operated from the owners device and no external device could get access to it through the internet unlike your Gmail account.
