"Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 13: No Pain, No gain."

in Steem4Nigerialast year

Hello friends from home and abroad, Warm regards to everyone. Thank God it's Wednesday (TGIT), and it's a pleasure to welcome you all to my post. Today I'll be writing based on the contest organized in the Steem4Nigeria community, which talks about pain and gain.

Do your definition of terms, i.e., Pain and gain.

To me, the definition of the term pain and gain is about what we are facing as humans. Let me start with the word pain. Pain is defined as the feeling of sadness, stress, hardship, being in danger, or anything harmful that brings unsatisfaction to a person's life. Pain can occur when a person has an injury or is passing through some health challenges.

On the other Gain is defined as the feeling of happiness, progress, joy, profit, and a lot more that makes a person very happy. Normally, for a businessman or woman, gain is seen as profit earned from businesses after deducting all expenses.

What do you understand by the statement?

My understanding of the statement is that pain makes us feel sad, whereas gain makes us feel happy for achieving something great. Also, I understand that pain is the process of getting gain after working, which means whatever a person is doing, he or she needs to endure the pain first before enjoying the gain.

Do you subscribe to this school of thought? Back up your yes or no answer with valid points.

Well, I don't subscribe to this school of thought because not everyone passes through pain before achieving what they want in their lives. For example, the song of a wealthy man wouldn't pass the pain of going about searching for a job or entering a public transportation because money is there for him or her to get whatever he or she needs, unlike a poor man's son or daughter that will have to pass through pain even before getting food to eat.

Share an experience for or against the statement.

I have a friend whose father is very wealthy, and we were in the same class. Despite how stubborn the guy is, he still gets things done, and immediately after he graduated from secondary school, he was sent abroad to continue his studies, whereas those of us that are not from a wealthy family are still here in Nigeria struggling to gain admission, which puts us under a lot of stress reading day and night.
