Pakistan is my Home country

Pakistan got independence in 1947 from the subcontinent of India. Pakistan represents Islam where majority of the people are Muslims. In India Muslims and Hindus used to live together, Muslims were not in majority there.

Which is why all the rules and regulations were set by British rulers in India. Both Muslims and Hindus were ruled by British for more than a century. Before British, Muslims were the rulers.

However during the reign of British things became difficult for Muslims. Muslims faught the war of independence againt British reign by collaborating with Hindus.

They lost this battle and Hindus blamed Muslims soley for the war in front of British. Consequently, things became difficult for Muslims, British rulers imposed restrictions on the free practice of their religion.

Muslims have different religion and culture than Hindus and Christians. Which is why getting independence was the matter of life and death.

A Muslim poet named Allama Iqbal saw the dream of a state where Muslims will be free to practice their religion and language.

Muhammad Ali jinnah who was a Muslim leader and lawyer created this dream into a reality in 1947.

It wasn't an easy dream to get a separate state. Muslims migrated from the Bharat to Pakistan facing many hardships. Many people lost their lives, families, properties, and some females lost their honour.

There was a blood shed and Muslims had to cross the river of blood to practice Islam freely.

Pakistan is the only country that was created on the based of a verse:
"There is no God but Allah"

Why do you think your country is unique? Share at least 3 points.

Everyone loves their home town and compares it to other countries. I find my country unique in following matters:

Northern areas:

Pakistan is the home of world's 2nd highest mountain called K2. It's another name is killer mountain because its expedition is more difficult than mount Everest.

Every year in winters and summers we receive tourists in our northern areas from all over the world. Most of them go and visit our heavenly province named Gilgit baltistan.

Gilgit baltistan

Lakes of our Pakistan are sight to watch once in your life. Some famous lakes are saif-ul-malook lakes, Attabad lakes, Ansu lake, and sadpara lake.

This region is a heaven on earth, its people are the most beautiful and hospitable.

Culture:

Pakistan has a rich culture, its roots are embedded in the subcontinent of Indian, which was ruled by Muslim leaders for many centuries.

During the mughal emperor era, they had built many historical buildings which are visited by people across the world.

These buildings are still kept intact in their old romance, which makes a person feel as if he has time travelled in the history.

Province Punjab of Pakistan is especially known as the home of such buildings such as:

  • Shahi hamam: Pakistan still has this royal bath which was built 4-5centuries ago during mughal era. It was built on the entrance to the main city(Lahore). It was built so that any person who enters in the city could wash up first.

Haveli restaurant

It was an old haveli/classic residential area which has turned into a resturant. Now people eat in a resturant which was built hundreds of years ago

Food

Pakistan has a rich food culture. We can live without any thing but not without food. During covid people left everything but food stalls were still rushed.

Foods which make Pakistan unique are Biryani, Nihari, Dahi bhallay, Naan Chanay, Chicken Karahi, Makki ki roti (corn bread), Sarsoun ka saag(mustard curry).

Another things which is native to Pakistan is chaye/tea. We make tea using milk, green tea leaves, sugar, dry fruits, and cream.

This special tea is known as pink tea/kashmiri tea. This tea is commonly found in the northern areas of Pakistan.

Would you leave your country to settle in another if an opportunity shows up? Back up your answer with reasons.

People leave their country to travel the world or in persuit of better future.

Economic conditions are very bad in Pakistan for a few years. People who have left Pakistan to find employment are reaching one million(since 2022).

If i can earn in a foreign currency sitting in my home country, I would never leave my country. If i can improve my life by earning in dollars, i can do it from my home town.

If i get a chance to leave Pakistan after marriage, that would be another debate. I would try my best not to leave the place I was born and raised in.

However, rule and law in Pakistan is no longer functional. Might is right is Pakistan.

I just pray that things settle down so that no one has to bear the pain to leave their old parents behind in Pakistan in persuit of good future.

What areas of your home (country) would you love to see an improvement?

Education system in pakistan is generating people who have degree but no skills. Which is why majority of our youth is unemployed.

Universities and school only focus on feeding knowledge in student. They don't teach how to earn money in practical life.

No one teaches soft skills in the univerties. Only a hand full of prestigious universities for elite do that. Which is why elite gets richer and poor gets poorer in my home town.

I want government to make it mandatory to teach soft skills via internet in schools. Students should know how to earn money through content writing, graphic designing, web development, blockchain and cryptocurrency.

Main crisis we are facing is economic, it's high time to change the educational institutes to generate students who become self sufficient and independent.

No doubt our beloved country has a diversity in landscape. I love it's deserts more then mountains. I love Balochistan scenery and it's verstility in nature. And you are right about present economic conditions . I also admit about its peace problems....but

وہ کیا ہے نا کہ گھر کی خاطر سو دکھ جھیلے ،گھر
تو آخر اپنا ہے
Long live Pakistan...

Every aspect of one's country is special to them, whether it's mountain or desert:)))

There is nothing like home sweet home, no one happily leaves it:(((

Ameen for the pray❤
