The diary game || 05-04-24 || I finally attended my first pioneer's meeting with the C.0

Dear diary📑

It was announced at the Kingdom Hall last week Sunday that all pioneers will have their meeting at the assembly Hall of Jehovah's witnesses today being 5th April 2024. It's my first meeting as a pioneer in my congregation and i was waiting eagerly for this day. I can't hold on to this joy alone because I'm not a greedy person, so i decided to share with you guys "My fulfilled and fruitful day in words and pictures".

Morning hours Activities

Before engaging in any activities or chores in the morning, i first of all go down on my knees and give God gratitude for the gift of life, brush up my teeth and take a bath. My clothes were worn and unpresentable, so i rushed to the nearby laundry shop to get my clothes ironed.

On reaching there, I told the man that I have just 5 minutes to spend, so he quickly put on the generator and begin the ironing. After 3 minutes of waiting, he called me from outside to come and pick my clothes that they're ready. I was excited because i didn't spend up to that 5 minutes i estimated. He did a good job and i paid him 700 naira which is equivalent to 2 steem for the urgent service he rendered.

I headed home with my clean outfit. On reaching the house, i checked my time and i still had about 1 hour before the meeting starts, so i decided to do some laundry. I washed 2 suits and 2 shirts and dry them under the sun.

My shoes were so dusty so i grab my kiwi polish and do the normal. Looking at my hair this morning, it was brown in color of which I don't like, so i mixed my hair dye and apply it on my hair. After 10 minutes, i washed my hair with cool water and my hair returned back to black. This preparation was all for today's pioneer's meeting.

I took my bath again because of the sweat all over my body during those activities, and i got dressed. "Woow, I'm ready for my first pioneer meeting" i said to myself. I entered my father's bus together with my fellow pioneers and we departed. The assembly Hall were the meeting will be held is not that far because it took only 20 minutes to get there.

Yes, we arrived there safely because Jehovah was out driver. There's this trending news about laser fever intruding the world, we value our lifes just the same way God does. So we practiced personal hygiene by washing our hands with soap and running water one after another.

The meeting was to start by 9:30am but due to delay in sound check, it was extended to 10am. "Let's take some pictures, while waiting for the meeting to start" My fellow pioneers said. How i wish @bossj23 was here to kill the shots. Well, i tried my best because I'm not a photographer, I'm still a novice. Below are some pictures i took using my device.

The first photography session was over because we were called to the hall for meeting. Today's meeting for pioneers was so encouraging, I learnt a lot today. Briefly, we were taught on how we can approach people of all kind and proclaim the goodnews despite their position in life or face reactions when we visit.

We did samples on how to overcome fears when we're in field service work. To wrap it all, today's pioneers meeting worth it, and i gave valuable comment that helped other pioneers.

Afternoon hours Activities

It was 12:00pm in the afternoon, we were given 20 minutes break for refreshments and easing ourselves. I was very hungry even before the break time because I had nothing to eat since morning. I walked down to the nearby shop and bought Mirinda and bread worth 550 naira which is equivalent to 1.5 steem.

I feel refreshed after satisfying my stomach, i paid the seller in cash and head back to the assembly hall to continue with the afternoon session. The speakers were filled with the spirit because we were motivated with their talks. It's a great and memorable day i won't forget in my life.

After 2 hours, the meeting was over, we exchanged pleasantries and I met my long time friends who also made a bold step to join the pioneer's work. I was overwhelmed with joy because i know what it means to be a pioneer.
I still remain the unpaid photographer for today's event, so i was called to start afternoon session of photography, of which i did without hesitating. Some pictures i took after the meeting ended👇🏾.

Evening hours Activities

After the photography we started gisting amongst ourselves and outlining our moral lessons. During the process, my father came out from the hall and said we should sit out somewhere and take some cool drink,i was excited because it's been a while i enjoyed that moment. We all hop into the bus and we drove to a joint. The chalk written post below best describes their menu for today.

We ordered for kanda meat and fresh palmwine, to be honest, their palmwine was one of a kind. I drank 2 bottles of palmwine because i enjoyed all sip of it. While drinking, my phone went off and i rushed to the bus to power it. We were done eating and drinking, it's time to back to our various homes.

On reaching the house, i was exhausted so i decided to get some sleep. I woke-up around 8pm in the evening, i grab my phone and voted on people's post on Steemit as well as engaging through valuable comment. My day was a fruitful one i must say, it all ended smoothly and yummy at the pork joint.
