Football highlight for today

It's Premier league week 29 of 38 and Brighton host Manchester city at home (Amex stadium). I think it'll be a tough game for Manchester city, because Arsenal defeated Chelsea with 5 goals to nill on Tuesday and grab 3 points securing the top table. Manchester city going for the same title race are now pressured as Erling Halaand, who is their star player won't travel with them due to minor health problem.

The kickoff whistle was blown by 8pm and the match started. Manchester city was in possession and doing the normal tiki taka passes around the field. Bernardo Silva, who's their right wing tried intruding Brighton's defense with his dribbling skills, but couldn't as Brighton defense was already cemented. Will Manchester break Brighton defense and get a goal?

The attack momentum was too much as Brighton conceded 3 goals in 34 minutes of play. Kyle Walker assisted De Bruyne, phil Foden scores a stunning freekick outside the 18yard box and Bernardo Silva assisted Phil Foden to get his second goal of the game. Pep Guardiola who's Manchester city head coach was impressed from bench, giving a thumbs up to his team and cheering up the fans.

Manchester city took the lead in first half with 3 goals to nill. After 15 minutes break, the second half begins. 4 players from the Brighton team were substituted and 5 from Manchester city. Manchester city was still in possession of the ball as their play method was top notch. Julian Alvarez who's Manchester city forward makes it 4 goals after scoring a screamer that rebounced back to his half.

Brighton team were frustrated as they didn't expect this kind of results. Joao pedro who's Brighton's forward missed a big chance to give their team a goal. There was a fair challenge inside the box in 77' minutes and Brighton team called the referee for a penalty. After the VAR check, the referee said NO PENALTY. Joao Pedro had another golden opportunity in 88' minutes to give his team a reconciliation goal, but his shot was off wide.

5 minutes of extra time was added, but yet still Brighton couldn't get a single goal today. The final whistle was blown and Brighton were defeated at home.
