Contest: A Penny Saved, is a Penny Earned

Most people say "This bucks is too small for me to save because it doesn't worth anything". Having this kind of mindset won't help us save a dime. Most teenagers do have this kind of mindset and when they squander the little money they had, they'll now remember the word "saving". This contest organized by @sahmie will help us steemians and readers to know that "A penny saved, is a penny Earned".

The word "Saving" is a means of keeping or gathering what we have without using it unnecessarily. We do earn STEEM coin here on Steemit for creating quality content, and we can as well save our earnings here. How? I discovered 2 ways in which we can save our earnings on Steemit. Below are the 2 ways in which we can save our earnings on Steemit.

• Powering up

We earn STEEM and STEEM POWER rewards for the contents we create here. When the rewards are distributed, steem power (SP) will be automatically added to our balance, then the steem rewards also known as liquid steem can be sold for cash. So to save this earnings, it's best we do power up to avoid selling the steem for cash.

• Joining monthly challenge

There's this monthly challenge that's ongoing organised by @bossj23. This challenge can be a means of saving our earnings on Steemit. The challenge rules makes it easy. In this challenge you don't convert your steem to cash until the challenge elapses which is within the period of 1 month. So i think participating in this challenge will help save our earnings.

"Cryptocurrency is the way" they said. Saving our steem earnings here on Steemit is very important because STEEM is a cryptocurrency which is traded in the most popular exchange in the world called BINANCE.

Though it's price is not that high as expected, i do have hope that STEEM will reach its highest price this year, so starting now to save our earnings will definitely make us millionaires by the end of the year.

The excitement and joy is always overwhelming anytime i create content and earn steem rewards. I'm a newbie here that's why i don't have enough contents yet.

When i first received my rewards through steem and also winning a contest with the prize of 3SP i was so excited and i took it as my first step to success as well as securing or saving for my future. I'll always try to engage in numerous contest and challenges so as to save my earnings here on Steemit.

I would love to show my before and after wallet balance after power up, but I'm in a monthly challenge i talked about earlier organised by @bossj23. According to the challenge rules, we're not allowed to do power up until the challenge is over.

The elders of our land say "Ke mbek ke mbek mbañg afid ebod". This simply means that the penny saved today will yield more penny tomorrow. So having the mindset that "A tree can't make a Forest" instead many trees do, will help you save continuously and at last you'll know that "A penny saved, is a penny Earned".
