What is your definition of "Giving"

Giving is act of handing over of something to somebody or group of persons Giving is the act and desire to share, hand over of things in your possession to another person.

Giving can be done materially and otherwise
i) Giving of advice; this is done by share both useful and un-useful advice, consolation, counseling, preaching, ministeration and other vocal giving
ii) Giving of material; this is the act of giving material things such as food, clothes, shelter etc to a person or group of persons which aim or assist them in one way or the others.

Giving can be done in group or individually, giving in group involve a company or organization donating or giving to someone or another organization or company
Individual giving is when an individual made a personal donation or giving to be it to another individual or a group or organization.

What should be the right motive behind giving

motives of giving should be binded to the fact that religiously it's advisable to lay down aims to the needy or the poor. Christian according to the Bible says that we should give inorder to receive even more, laying down the motive that when you give you will be giving double.

And morally giving is another of displaying humanity in action and saving the world of selfishness and greed.

Do you believe in giving and publicizing the act. I.e sharing on social media

I don't publicized giving Christianity has taught us to be giving in secret, not allowing the whole world to be aware that we are giving so publicizing giving is one act that i don't do and will not advice someone to subscribe to it as well
In 14BC jew were involved in publicizing giving, Jesus came and condemn that act to show that it wasn't good. Jesus was a great teacher and friends and need to be followed, and he is regarded as the saviour of the whole mankind and universe.

Mention some of the ways you think the act of giving should not be done

Ways in which giving should not be done

1. publicizing; you shouldn't be publicly show that you are giving
2. Giving should not be done because you want to receive back but because it's a moral norm and need to be done
3. giving should not be done to get value or acknowledgement by the public or society.
