Aggression Among youths-Causes and effects by@Akareen

There are many causes which include the following:
•Enviromental factors: Environmental factors determine aggressive behaviour among individuals. Individuals who see how others behave aggressively toward another person and that individual may believe that violence and others illicit act is acceptable in our environment.
•Biological factors: this happen, as a result of genetic and hormones can influence aggressive behavior. Youth can inherit this factors among his or her parents
•Addiction and Abuse: this is a situation where the youth become addicted to various type of drug and alcohol, this can result to aggressive behavior toward others.
• Aggression lead to end of relationship between family.
• Aggression disorganise the unity of a country and can also lead to conflict between two or more tribes if proper care is not taken.
• Some people hide under this aggression and they see that as an opportunity to commit violence in our environment e.g bokoharam, bandit and kidnappers in northern part of the country.
• It can also lead to rape and others sexual harresment.
• Individual who experience aggression should be taken to qualified counsellor so that the therapist would be able to resolve problems they are facing.
• Adequate diagnosed should be carried out for people with mental disorder like epilepsy or depression. And the person should take his or her drug to help reduce the aggression.
• House rules must also be set out to the individual especially adolescent and let them know that if the rule is broken they will face the consequence.
Aggression behavior disrupt the peace in our environment and it can also disorganise the system that is already built. Children may see it as a normal behavior and should be caution so that it will not affect them in the future.

Hello @akareen thanks for taking part in this contest, truly aggression is a very bad behavior that disrupt the peace of a community at large. Anger should be managed right from childhood, this calls for parents to train their kids on how to manage anger from younger age. I wish you success!
