A skill is something or a handiwork that is learned or acquired to increase one’s knowledge and make ends meet.skills needs to be developed with serious mind and handwork to be able to give out good results.

In my country Nigeria,skills are highly needed for survival especially during this subsidy period.pixabay.

The rate of skill demand has skyrocketed in Nigeria due to economy,it is now a necessity to know one or two skills.It is a must to know a skill now;even graduates learn a skill now.parents take their children to go learn skills;after school they are meant to go to their work place to learn a skill.For most people in my country,learning a skill is a plan B incase one doesn’t get a job immediately after school,you will have your skill to help you survive.

For one,my country is blessed with people with so much creativity.

There are a whole lot of skills that one can learn but I will be listing the popular ones which include:fashion designing,hair dressing,graphics design,catering,make up,digital skills,shoe making,painting,photography, and carpentry,bag making so on and so on.

Everyday,people try to come up with new skills that they can do that will bring in more funds and will be worth doing.Recently,people started making bags and stuffs out of the cover of a bottle.I was so shocked and surprised when I saw it because it was just too creative and beautiful ;many people have turned it to their business and are making a whole lot from it.

I wish to learn Fashion designing and digital skill.I am currently leaning fashion dragging at horlagreen stitches.Started acquiring this skill last year around November period,almost a year now thou.It wasn’t easy but I really like fashion,clothes,dressing up and stuff so I wanted to be able to sew what I want by myself and by God’s grace am actually improving thou it’s not easy been an apprentice I know it’s going to be worth it when I finally know everything.

For one ,we all need to be clothed;everyone wants to look presentable and have beautiful outfits on and it is the job of the fashion designer to meet up with peoples expectations.it is a very beautiful skill to learn. Digital skill is a skill I will want to learn before the year runs out.There are a lot of digital skills that are paying now and due to the fact that we are in a computer age,it is a must to know one or two digital skill.

In Conclusionskills are very much needed in todays world that we are in,not just to make ends meet but to also increase our knowledge and give solutions to the happenings in our surroundings.I will say everyone should definitely know a skill cause it will also enhance the development of a country.
