Audiobook Vs normal reading: Which do you prefer?

In this post I'll be developing a very important topic i found very interesting. My topic is "Is audio listening better than reading"
Today technology has advanced greatly and many things have been simplified thanks to it, there are now audio books that we can listen to when we do not feel like reading.
Yes these technology inventions are making life easier for us, but those audio listening really help us with our intellectual health? Is it better to listen than to read?
Benefits of audiobooks
It allows you to multitask. With the audio you can be doing other things while simply listening to the book being read out.
Listening to the book helps more with empathy and makes the story come alive.
Is saves more time and requires less concentration
Benefits to reading
Reading a book will help you to retain the information very fast
Reading a book help to improve your vocabulary or knowledge of the book's language
It allows you to concentrate.ore on your studies and dig dipper to a particular point or look up some words in dictionary
Audio Books Vs Reading
The two can be advantageous depending on the circumstances. If we are studying to learn and to pick out important points then we go for normal reading. If we are learning how to pronounce things in a foreign language we can go for audio.
Also audio book is there for fast reading to save time.
For me my preference depends on he type of book. If I'm reading a story then i don't mind using audio but if it's a textbook or mor serious books then i go for normal reading. Tell me which is your favorite?
