The dairy game : How I spent my day in the village 14/05/2024

INTRODUCTION

Hello, friends how are you feeling right now?I hope everything went smoothly. I'm back with a new post that will tell you all about my day in the village. I hope you enjoy it.

MORNING

I get up really early and participate in morning worship, which is based on Proverbs 15:9, which states that Jehovah detests the way of the wicked but loves the one who pursues righteousness.It was really uplifting and motivating, which supports me all day. We finished our breakfast after I helped to sweep and tidy up the area and my mom made food for us to eat. I'm getting ready to visit a nearby farm.

AFTERNOON

We had up to five beds, but we were only able to finish two since we didn't have enough water leaf stem. I really enjoy planting waterleaf because it's less stressful than planting cassava. In the afternoon, I went to the farm with my mom to plant waterleaf.Following that, my mother entered the farm to check on various farm items, including palm fruit, coconut, corn, Afang leaf, gurry leaf, Editan leaf, and hibiscus leaf. We were unable to locate all of them, but we did find some food, including plantains, bananas, and maize, as seen in the following photo:

My mother has a beautiful garden that is fenced off and closed to our house, which I find appealing.

She practices mixed family living, but despite this, she has grown a wide variety of crops, including peppers, vegetables,waterleaf, cocoyam, cassava, plantains, melon, sugar cane, and more. I won't say much more; instead, I'll show you gay people some images that perfectly capture the situation.

This leaf was also taken from the farm; it is known as meme in our dialect, but it is also known as (justcia simplex) in English.

It is used here as a blood tonic and has many health benefits, including being high in fiber, rich in antioxidants, lowering blood sugar and bad cholesterol, treating coughs, relieving spasms in the stomach, lowering fever, reducing diarrhea, and much more.Unbelievably, though, my mother used it to make banana porridge, or "otour mboro" as we call it in our dialect. I didn't take a full picture of it though.

EVENING

As I mentioned, my mother makes a recipe for banana porridge in the evening for us to eat.Following my meal, I have to take a picture of my niece, Mirabella. Since she enjoys taking pictures as much as she does eating, these are the pictures I took of her:

I was actually shocked to see my mother pussycat attempting to devour a large piece of bush meat as I was taking pictures of my baby sister Mirabella. I had never seen anything like it before, but it was one of the things that kept me entertained in the village.This is a photo of it.

Following everything, I had to take a bath, go to my room, relax, and get ready for family worship.Thank you, and I hope you all like it.
