Workplace competition series: My most unusual workplace

We all do unusual things at times, things that are beyond ordinary of which I'm a big victim. Working on steemit as a content writer, a moderator and as a business man isn't easy. I work with time. Time doesn't wait for me so I don't wait for time. I work almost everyday on steemit in different places. My usual work places include;

• My room
• Toilet
• A lecture hall in school
• And while working on the streets...

These may sound absurd to you. Personally, I feel no time should be wasted and that I should always be multitasking my activities... These are my usual work places but for the purpose of this contest, I'll deliberate on my unusual workplaces for steemit with my phone, the importance or benefits of working in these unusual places, the disadvantages of working there and my experiences working in these unusual places.

I have various unusual places where I create contents on steemit. These include..

• Writing on top of a motorcycle: This is very risky especially when you're sitting with people. A motorcycle is a mean of transportation with two wheels without cover... I was moderating on steemit that day and where I was heading to was quite far on the motorcycle, so I thought of moderating with my phone on top of the vehicle so as not to waste that time just looking at places. I held my phone tight and firm so that it won't fall off my hands...This screenshot shows me writing on top of a motorcycle. Very unusual indeed as I've never done so before.

• Creating contents in the farm: This reminded me of those days I'll go to the farm with my parents.... They'll complain that I should drop my phone and focus on farming so as to leave there in time. I'll give deaf ears because I may not have time again that day. So writing in the farm was quite a good time for me but a bad time for them.

I'll weed for some time and then take up my phone and capture what I'm doing, insects in the soil and other organisms. By so doing, I was able to come up with a content that day of my activities in the farm. SC01 voted on this post. I was elated I did that in the farm. This is me capturing myself as well as weeding in the farm. 😂 Quite unusual....

Working on steemit during a lecture

• Creating contents on highway: It's been a norm for me to create Contents while walking on the streets, but I've never tried such on highway. There's this particular day I was entirely busy with school activities that I returned late in the evening.... I was to create a content as well as moderate in a community before dawn...

So I had to capitalize on my trekking to where I'll see vehicles heading my direction The route we walked on was very busy with cars and various vehicles. Even when I crossed the road, I was looking at my phone and also looking to observe left right movements. My friend would collect my phone and run so that'll focus as it was becoming a habit. I can remember when I stumbled on a car because of working on steemit. Quite unusual.

These are a few of my unusual workplaces.

• It helps me meet up with certain things as well as do some review on people's posts before getting home.

• It saves my time for important things. Imagine I don't utilize the time I have trekking back home, on getting back I may be occupied with one or two making me leave the work or content till the next day......

I have lots of experiences working in these unusual places...One of such is when I was on a motorcycle creating a content. I focused on my phone not minding my destination. The motorist drove past my destination without my notice not until he reached a certain point. He asked me where exactly I was going to. It was then It dawned on me. I had to pay him double to carry me back there.

Another is when I was walking on a highway back home with friends. I nearly fell inside a gutter due to the fact that I was more focused on my phone than on my track.

My positive experiences working in these unusual places are;

• reviewing all pending posts in a particular communuity in time before being occupied with other things that consumed my time.

In conclusion, we sometimes create contents in places we never thought we will such as a burial place, toilet to some, during lectures or practicals and the likes of them.... Sometimes these unusual places serve purposes but we should be careful as well. Thanks to @alexmove for organizing this contest.
