More needs to be done to increase their availability. For us, we'd be able to drive over to France without worrying about waiting for a Ferry or train. Or we could drive up to Scandinavia. Oil rigs could become petrol stations. Air travel would reduce too which would help the environment and in time, these amphibious vehicles will be electric too and if somebody really thought about it, could run off hydro power. There could even be a "round the world" race like Le Mans 24 hour. So many opportunities if somebody like Elon Musk put some thought into it...
