I did not yet discuss this issue with 'Vivienne', he-he, but I dare to say:
No, this is not the whole truth, because the time of the nomading humans are by very far longer and thus deeper integrated into our genom as the time of being settled with homes, villages, and towns.
From the moment you take this into account, you will see the large propaganda-part in narratives about homeliness and on the value of so-called "nations". The concept of "nations" mostly was invented in order to veil the character of imperia by giving states some biological character or underline--and more over: the place to projecting some love-like feelings on them.

Sorry, I don't believe this. It is not by nature but socially introduced, and the inclining of my heart is not a good counsellor while others (mis-)use to manipulate my feelings and my decisions. If two men get into a battle you may really see which one is weaker, but you never see which other strong powers stand behind whom and put them as mere figures on the chess board...
