Realizing the need for love
A story, perhaps many of us have heard. A small family. Father, mother, youngest son and grandfather of the boy.
Grandpa is very old. The power to do anything. No. He stays in bed all day. One day the boy's father put the old man on a basket and set off for the forest. Going, going.
After walking some distance, the boy suddenly asked his father, "Dad, where are you taking Grandpa in the basket?"
"We'll leave your grandfather in the jungle now," Dad replied.
"Why?", The boy wonders.
"Because your grandfather is old, can't do anything. It doesn't help us. He just eats and sleeps. What's the use of keeping him at home?"
So we are going to leave him in the forest. "
"Oh!", The little boy said for a moment, then said, "Okay Dad, but we'll just bring the basket when Grandpa leaves."
"Why", Dad is a little surprised.
"Because, when I grow up, you'll grow old, like Grandpa. Then you can't do anything. Just eat and sleep. Then there's no use for me leaving you at home. Just spending money to buy a new basket." Why go? I'll leave you in the woods without this basket. "
The father was shocked by the son's words. Suddenly he realized his mistake. He realized that when he was young, when he could not do anything, his parents took care of him and raised him. Today his father is old and has become a child. Just as his father held him in his arms as a child, so now his duty is to hold his father in his arms. At this point his service to his father, perhaps even a little, will be repaid to his father.
