The Isolator: A strange device to capture one's thoughts
All the unimaginable discoveries of science are constantly bringing changes in our daily lives. The inventors are relentlessly trying to make the daily work of ordinary people easier, more accurate and effective. However, while most inventions are made for the benefit of the people, not all inventions are popular. In many complexities, including unrealistic concepts, impossible construction processes, or unusability, scientific inventions are often confined to the pages of books and concepts.
One such device based on a wonderful idea is called an isolator helmet. According to the inventor, this device could keep people's attention focused, so that any work could be done for human beings with uninterrupted concentration.
We all know from personal experience that it is very difficult to work on a particular subject for a long time. For various reasons, that attention can be lost again. For example, the hustle and bustle going on around or the distraction in the middle of work. Whether at work or at home, it is difficult to find a work environment where some of the undesirable work environment in the neighborhood will not be ruined.
It is not always the case that the surrounding environment is responsible for the workload. The brain, under intense work pressure, often loses its focus. The bizarre drawings on the screen of the house, the flies flying happily in the mind or the rising and falling of the sun coming out of the window are enough to distract immediately. At that time, Hugo Gransbach, an inventor in the United States, invented a device that could keep people focused on their work. In 1925, he unveiled this strange-looking helmet. He named the helmet 'The Isolator', which looks like the head of a robot from science fiction.
Hugo Gransbach was involved in various activities throughout his career. Outside of scientific innovation, he was basically the editor of the magazine. He was involved in editing and publishing various magazines from time to time. He also loved to write in his own magazine outside of science fiction novels. The issue of Isolator was first published in the journal Science and Invention, which had a few pages of editorial in each issue.
Although he is a whimsical inventor, his contribution to scientific discovery is not insignificant. He has a total of 60 patents for inventions. His other inventions outside of isolators include a variety of commercially productive dry cells, electric combs, electric mirrors, and even head-mounted televisions, such as modern-day VR boxes.
The issue of isolator helmets was first published by Hugo Gransbach in July 1925. He published a detailed report on this strange helmet in the journal Science and Invention. In this report, Gransbach also published a picture of himself wearing a helmet with an explanation of the construction of the isolator.
