Jim Corbett: A humanitarian hunter dedicated to public welfare

Edward James Corbett, the full name of Jim Corbett, a British citizen of Irish descent. He is the eighth child of former military members Christopher William Corbett and Mary Jane. William resigned from the military and in 182 bought a house at Kaladhungi in Nainital, where he lived with his family and became a postmaster. Legendary hunter Jim Corbett was born on July 25, 185 in this house.
The Corbett siblings grow up laughing and playing in the wild environment of Kaladhungi. But the laughter soon subsided when William, the only breadwinner in the family, met Bhablila Sang. At the urging of the household, the widow Mary Jane herself ventured into the real estate business and soon emerged as one of the most successful and influential figures in Nainital.
Shortly afterwards, Corbett's older brother took over as his father's postmaster.By that time, the wild nature and animals around their village had begun to attract young Jim Corbett.
At a very young age, he learned a lot about forests and wild nature through his roar and natural instincts. From listening to the calls and sounds of animals to identifying them and following the path of animals, locating them all comes to his fingertips. And it is these skills that help him in the subsequent massacre of cannibals.
Corbett did not spend much time at the high school level. Although admitted to Sherwood College, his regular formal education came to an end as soon as he graduated from Oak Opening School. He joined the Bengal and North Western Railways as a fuel inspector in need of livelihood and soon became a novice.
At a young age, Jim was addicted to fishing and hunting. Later, however, he felt more comfortable using a camera than a gun. Although his guns always roared to kill man-eating tigers and cheetahs.
Between 1911 and 1938, Jim Corbett sent dozens of cannibals to Yamlo - killing about 1,500 people. And in all this hunting he would go alone at the risk of a deadly life - he had no human companion or helper! Only a trustworthy little Sermei named Robin seldom accompanied him.
