Steemit Health Contest #10 : A Commitment to a Healthy Life

Greetings to all. Steemit Health has organized a very nice contest. Its subject is My Healthy Lifestyle Program in 2023. I thank the organizer of this contest, @nadiaturrina Ma'am. Today I will show you how I manage my healthy lifestyle in the middle of my busy life.

Body exercise and nutrition are what keep our body fit. Body fitness means exercising on time, maintaining a balanced diet, and paying particular attention to our mental health. We must take several steps to lead a healthy lifestyle as we move through life. Both physical and mental fall into our healthy lifestyle. Both are equally important. We must remember that if we can transform healthy behaviors into our habits, it is called a healthy lifestyle.

I will present some of the steps I will practice in 2023. Hope you will benefit.
  • Being Physically Active:

I have planned something in 2023 that I want to implement. Since I am a working woman, I have to work at my desk most of the time. I have to sit in front of my laptop to work on Steemit when I come home. So not being physically active. So I have thought that every morning I will perform the Fajr prayer, walk for 30 minutes, and try to do yoga.

  • Eat a Balanced Diet :

Balanced food is very beneficial for our bodies. It helps in controlling our weight as well as preventing various physical problems. Although I always lose health and eat less of these foods. However, I have taken steps in 2023 to be more health-conscious and try to eat healthier every day.

  • Weight Control :

Weight gain is one of the causes of our physical problems. We should always control our weight. Due to weight gain, various health problems increase in the human body. Many people die in Bangladesh just because of ignorance about this health issue. So I have already taken steps in this regard. It is imperative for a healthy lifestyle. My weight is under control. Still, I need to follow a healthy diet to maintain it, and I have taken steps accordingly.

  • Mental health :

Along with the body, I think our mental health is essential
Plays a role. We are busy working all day. A lot of stress goes over the body. So we also need peace of mind. I need to determine how I can manage stress in my life. Stress causes problems like insufficient sleep, sudden headache, digestive problems, etc. So to keep my mental health right, I must practice deep breathing or meditation.

  • Adequate sleep and rest :

I have had a hectic year. I didn't get enough sleep and rest. Especially the last three months of the year. This year I will get enough sleep and rest. It plays a crucial role in a healthy lifestyle.

How to make a healthy lifestyle a habit?

Several approaches can be taken to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Which is given below:

  • Avoid unhealthy foods and eat healthy foods regularly. More protein-rich foods and fiber and low-fat, sugar-free, and nutritious foods should be practiced in the diet.

  • Weight should be measured once a week. By keeping track of body weight, you will know the measurement of weight gain and loss.

  • Make a habit of taking multivitamin supplements. It is better to consume it daily as we may not have a variety of vegetables or fruits in our house. So this multivitamin supplement is very effective in increasing your body's immunity with vitamins A, B6, B12, C, D, E, and more iron, copper, and magnesium.

  • Drink enough water and keep the body hydrated. Drink at least 2.5 to 3 liters of water a day. Also, sugary water should be limited.

  • Regular exercise should be practiced. You should be physically active. Stay away from sitting all day, and keep yourself busy by walking. And do regular workouts every day.

  • Adequate sleep habits should be developed. Because when we are awake, our hormones are consumed. So there is no substitute for adequate sleep to regenerate and store hormones. We should sleep 7 to 8 hours daily. So our immunity systems work correctly.

  • Apart from this, regular check-ups should be done regularly with the doctor. Tests that will tell you how your body condition is. These include lipid profiles, heart rate tracking, body weight, diabetes, etc.

How to increase awareness of healthy living?

To create a long and healthy lifestyle, we must be fit, energetic, and aware of chronic diseases. Government and private organizations have taken various initiatives in this regard. They are always well-designed, beautiful environments that help the country's citizens physically active. To raise awareness of healthy lifestyle:

  • There are various campaigns in our country at international and national levels to encourage people to lead a healthy lifestyle. According to the follow-up of the World Health Organization in increasing awareness of healthy living, the local government of our country conducts campaigns to make the people of the country aware of increasing the quality of healthy living.

  • Smoking damages the human body by increasing the risk of cardiovascular disease. We can make people aware of the harmful effects of smoking through no-smoking announcements, restricted advertising, enforcement of various laws, and mass media to encourage people to smoke.

  • It goes without saying how vital physical activity is to a healthy lifestyle—encouraging physical activity in the built environment, using stairs instead of elevators, encouraging people to walk in the morning, and making people aware of the benefits of daily workouts for our bodies.

  • Eating a balanced diet or low-fat diet every day. Must be able to convince people to avoid processed foods. It should be advised to limit the amount of sugar and salt. Besides, it is necessary to change people's eating habits by imposing a tax on non-sustainable food.

Te comprendo tanto cuando haces referencia a trabajar todo el día sentada porque, es mi realidad jajajaja.

Yo realizo ejercicios de yoga para evitar malestares y para el 2023 empleare pilates porque a parte de beneficiarme en la salud física, también contribuye en la mental.
