Hello friends, today I came across @nadiaturrina’s post on the contest that the steem health community is holding. That is about junk food. Since there is still time to enter, I have decided to do so. The title of the competition is a very ideal one as most the people in the world are badly addicted to using that food due to laziness in their life. I am grateful to Nadiaturrina for choosing such a worthwhile subject on which to express our opinions.

Let's first examine what those junk foods are. Junk food is defined as fast food with a low nutritional value and ease of preparation. There are many fast-food choices offered at restaurants, such as pizza, burgers, sandwiches, cold drinks, cakes, potato chips, and so on. Junk food has become more popular because of its great taste, better self-life, and easy transportation. People enjoy eating junk food all around the world, thus there are currently more fast-food restaurants and their chains than ever before. Today, it is common to have junk food in our diet. Junk food contains a lot of fat and sugars, oil, salt, and excess calories and has low nutritional value and quality. Our younger generations nowadays are severely addicted to fast food.

What it is called?

Burgers and French fries are the junk food I like most of them. Our family has a habit of going to or ordering a burger and French fries at a nearby restaurant. They have a beautiful flavor, so whether it's morning, evening, or night, we are happy to eat them. Because of the crunchy flavor and cheesy flavor, we eat more and more.

Downsides of health

We are aware that eating burgers and French fries are really bad for our health because it is filled with sodium content, cheese, sugar, and oils that have no nutritional value. It is not a good source of nutrition, nor is it helping our bodies in any way. Daily consumption of those foods causes our bodies to store fat and makes us lazy. They are low in essential nutrients like iron, vitamins, and minerals. It increases the risk of heart attack cancers. The sodium content in the burger and French fries lead to headaches which makes it hard to focus and maintain motivation, even for mental tasks. Therefore, we understand that eating this type of junk food is very harmful to our bodies.

Why we can’t make unable to move on from it?

However, we are unable to leave it because the first thing we notice is its crispy and cheesy flavor. A burger is made composed of bread, a chunk of meat, and frequently cheese, red onion slices, and other sauces. A blast of flavor that we find pleasing occurs when you first bite into a fresh cheeseburger and lettuce, pickle, onion, and tomato on a sesame seed bun combined in your mouth. We'll always be drawn to the crunchy flavor of burgers and French fries. As a result, we were unable to stop eating those burgers and French fries. We can't stop devouring those mouthwatering burgers and fries.

Conclusion

We choose quick meals like fast food and junk food since our lives are growing so busy. Making convenience food is simple and quick. They are immediately consumable and instantly cookable. But it may be simpler to resist junk food if the temptation is removed and fitness knowledge is increased. We shouldn't encourage our children to make consuming bad meals a habit. They need to be coerced into eating inside, rather than going out to dine. Eating meals on time and keeping a supply of good food may help. You can break the habit if you have strong willpower and an understanding of the harm that junk food causes. The general population needs to be made aware of the detrimental consequences of fast food on health. Naturally, doing this will assist a person in avoiding junk food and establishing good eating practices.
