I believe you are all doing great and are actively engaging with one another.

Its another beautiful day to participate in the steemit engagement challenge and I find myself here, in this great community.

This engagement promises to be very interesting and educative as it centers on the education of our traditional medicine.

Without wasting any more time, I invite you to join me immediately as we begin our adventure on this contest.

As it is known, I am a bonafide citizen of Nigeria.

Nigeria is located in the west part of Africa and we are blessed with so many traditional medicine.

Nigeria is a developing country and as such, not everyone has access to the modern technology to cure sicknesses, many result to the use of traditional medicine and some of our traditional medicine are:

• GBOGBONISE:

This traditional drug is mostly common in the western part of Nigeria and has a yoruba name.

When translated to English, Gbogbonise means "Does everything", this means that the medicine works for different kinds of sicknesses.

Just as the name implies, Gbogbonise cures a variety of bacteria infection, which is one reason it is very popular and accepted in other part of Nigeria.

• AGBO JEDI:

Agbo Jedi is another very effective traditional medicine used in my locality to cure a sickness known as "Jedi Jedi".

"Jedi Jedi" is a sickness that is usually caused by the too much intake of sugar or any sugery content.

Abgo Jedi Jedi helps to cure that.

• AGBO GIDI:

This is another popular traditional medicine used in my vicinity.

This medicine is sometimes used if Gbogbonise cannot be found, it is used to cure malaria and typhoid easily.

Other forms of traditional medicine in my vicinity are:

• Dogoyaro
• Aboniki etc

Today, I will be explaining how to make agbo Jedi since it is useful in curing jedi jedi, which on other words can be likened to diabetes.

Get all your materials ready and some of the materials used are : Scented leaves, Mango stem, bitter leaf, garlic.

Ensure that you rinse all your materials thoroughly to prevent other germs/dirts from going into the pot.

If this is not done carefully, it would interrupt or weaken the strength of the drug.

Get your post which you wish to make the medicine.

Add little water into the pot (water should depend on the quantity you intend to make).

Then add the materials into the pot alongside the water, then apply heat to the pot.

Leave the mixture on fire for about 20-30mins, and after it has been heated the water will take a different color, Ideally colour brown.

Then you can pour some of it into a cup and drink.

Agbo Jedi is traditional medicine that is used to cure different illness in the human body.

Agbo Jedi is a very effective medicine used to cure malaria and typhoid.

When a person starts showing symptoms of malaria and typhoid, he can take in the agbo Jedi and get cured.

Another Importance of "agbo jedi" is that it can be a very effective cute to measles.

It is used to cure measles of any duration easily.

There is no side effects attached to the use of "agbo jedi".

It is a traditional drug that can be used by all, sick or not sick.

Most times is it used to rinse the system and curr it of all viruses and bacteria.

The agbo jedi is very safe to use.

Unfortunately, due to some factors I couldn't get access to the materials used to prepare a traditional medicine in my current location.

I am currently in my school environment and I couldn't find the right mixture for "agbo jedi" and I don't intend to show a picture that is not mine

I appeal to the moderator to understand my situation

This is a very important contest that has helped us learn about the traditional medicine of different culture.
