Ants Are Noble Animals On Earth
Assalamualaikum.wr.wb
Ants
Hello Global Steem friends wherever you are, allow me here to share a little knowledge about ants
Ants are often considered pest stars by some people even though ants are included in the people of Prophet Solomon, in the Qur'an there is also a letter about ants, so ants are noble animals on this earth,
Ants have large heads and slender bodies. The shape is oval from the chest or the middle to the waist. Ants also have antennae and two jaws. Outer jaw pair for carrying objects such as food and digging. While the inner jaw for chewing food. Some ants also have a sting at the end of their stomach, which will usually feel a little hot.
There are three castes in an ant colony, namely queens, males, and workers. Some species of ants live in the nest, and others come out as parasites or food hunters. Most ants live in nests, which are located under the ground, under rocks, or under structures made of sand or gravel.
Some species also live in hollow trees or trunks. Like the wood ant, it is a large black ant that is generally breasted in old wood or ordinary wood.
Ants have a close social relationship between fellow ants. The ant community is led by a queen who also serves to lay the eggs of thousands of ants. The queen ensures the survival of the colony.
Worker ants must be diligent to gather a lot of food for the colony. It turns out that ants have a secret to detecting food. This tool is located on the antenna of the ant.
These antennae have a better sense of smell than humans. Ant antennae are able to find food sources that are far away. When transporting food, they are able to carry objects that weigh 50 times heavier than the weight of the ant's body.
Ants have a sense of mutual cooperation, so food of any size can sometimes be picked up together and carried to the nest. In addition to the antennae, ants also leave a distinctive scent made of pheromones along the way to food.
These pheromones are chemical substances released by ants to communicate with each other. It is like leaving a trail to get back to the nest.
After finding food, the ants will return to the nest and tell their other friends. Then other ants will follow the pheromone trail that was made earlier to get to the food source.
