Some people ask me, how do I raise children's awareness in worship, such as praying and fasting?

Regarding habituation or growing awareness of worshiping our sons and daughters, the first thing we must introduce is about worship that we want to bring to our children. When we want our child to become an expert in worship in this context, it is prayer, for example. So make sure we introduce fasting, we introduce prayer first to our children.

In the context of this introduction, we should not be in a hurry to demand this child always directly with a very strict portion and so on. But the name of introducing is to start and then show that it is time for prayer that we sometimes invite. If it's time for fasting, we sometimes ask for example until he is old enough to train himself and so on. Because the technical step is when we introduce worship that wants to become their habit.

Then the second is habituation to them. This habituation, of course, in the context here is an effort to teach, get used to small things, but that is istiqamah done. Because habits are built from this small foundation, God willing, from the lowest stages, the wisdom will stick to them.

Then third, we must pay attention to the immediate environment for our children. Children will not be able to love prayer if the environment is also not used to love for their prayers.

Children will be very difficult to give charity if then the people around them do not get used to giving charity. So it is certain that this close environment provides an example, so that children see every day, hear every day, every day follow all the good processes carried out by parents, relatives or those around them.

Well, with habits, by looking at this direct example, then our children will have a message in him that he also follows the people around him.
