Well, I don't need to tell you that in 2022 we were all surprised by the news that war had broken out between Russia and Ukraine.
Well, in fact, Russia attacked Ukraine back in 2014, although it denied it. But Russian troops were present on the territory of Ukraine even then, and there are numerous proofs of this. What happened in 2022 was an obvious consequence of the fact that no one condemned Russia's actions. This terrorist country felt that its actions would go unpunished, so it decided to invade Ukraine and destroy its statehood, committing the genocide of the Ukrainian nation.
That's roughly what was meant... People had got used to the occupation of the territories, had come to terms with it. I certainly didn't expect it to turn into a war.
Yes, of course, what you did not expect, in Ukraine, too, until the last day, many people did not believe in it. But it was obvious that the empire would not so easily let go of its former colony, which was its best conquest.
