One Street Of My City

A road is any solid ground where humans, animals and vehicles can tread on. Some people can describe Road as a rope that never end. But in my presume, I'll say that it usually end in water bodies and it begins another path of transport. 100% of humans and vehicles make use of this natural asset in a daily basis. This is why the importance of this natural asset cannot be overemphasized. So, in this article, let's look at street as the subject matter.

A street can be defined as a route within a geographical point. It is said that a street can link to another street. This is the concept of road. The street I will love to show you around is the RING ROAD 3. This is one of the popular street in Uyo Metropolis. If you tell a driver to alight at Ring Road 3, definitely, he will know there.

The origin of the street is not well stated. But it is derived from villages like Mbiabong Anyanya, and other neighboring villages. Before it's development, Ring Road 3 was known to be one of the muddiest street in Uyo. Anytime rain fall, the street became inaccessible due to how it was.

The situation continued until the government of Akwa Ibom stepped in. They decide to undertake the process of refining the street. They (the government) involves the assistance of Home based construction company, HENSEK. To our greatest surprise, the street became more beautiful than what we expected.

The road was constructed in a dual way format with additional two service lanes. This make the road to be a 4 lanes street. This street has linked diverse major street like Nwaniba, Nung Oku, etc. It has three roundabout at each junction. The roundabout in the Oron Road Axis has a water fountain which is a sight to behold. This street is totally amazing in terms of it's beauty.

Ring road 3 is an awesome roadway with amazing importance. And I'll love to share it with you.

• It Serves As A Transport Medium: Due to its accessibility, people prefer using it fo transportation.
• Commercial Activities is Present: This street is developed that marketers and retailers come in for business. In a typical evening, various goods ranging from fruits, edibles, household items, etc are being displayed.
• The Street Serve As a Tourist Center: During festive periods, people do come and experience the beauty of the street. A large number do surround the water fountain taking photos and other activities.
  The importance of Ring Road 3 in the Uyo metropolis cannot be overemphasized.
