Wall iris

My neighbours' flowerpots contained this wall iris plant. It's quite lovely. When I took the photo, there was only one flower in bloom. A few days later, there were about eight blooming flowers, but now there are none. They suddenly disappeared, but the plant is still green. In addition to the violet shade, the blossom contains two more hues. The centre has a small amount of brown and white.

Greater periwinkle

I took pictures of these greater periwinkle blossoms a few days ago while I was out with my mother. We had chosen a path that was very forested. There were numerous plants nearby, and the air was clean. These were among the trees, as I noticed. The plant's leaves were glossy. The heart of this violet blossom is somewhat whitish in tone.
