I'm intrigued by how big a mess it was?! Did you take a before and after photo?
Ours is always a mess but that's more to do with having 2 children that refuse to tidy up than anything else.
I have dogs instead of children, but they also refuse to tidy:) No, I didn't take a photo, forgot to do it:( But actually it wasn't messy, it was just not for living. It was more like a gym mixed with some technical room, and now I want it to be cozy^)
Oh, nice. Nothing beats curling up in a cozy room with a couple of fluffy dogs for company!
