Contest | Color palette | LILAC FLOWERS!

How are you friends? I thought of joining the color palette contest this week as well. To be honest, I didn't know about lilac color before. So when I was looking for details, I found out that this is the same color as light purple. So I found some lilac flowers. I don't even recognize some of those flowers. This is my flowers list. let's see.

1.Golden Dewdrops- Duranta plant

This is a Golden dewdrops plant flower of my garden. This plant is a member of the "Verbena" family. Duranta plant has green oval leaves. This plant has orange colour berries. Duranta plant loves sunlight and it gives beautiful lilac colour flowers. We can use this as a natural fence. Lilac colour flowers are very beautiful when they fall down like vines.

2.Periwinkle-Vinca minor

Periwinkle flower is a lilac colour beautiful flower which grows in garden. It's also commonly called the Madagascar Periwinkle. Vinca minor is a member of the "dogbane" family. This flower used as a bedding plant in sunny flowerbeds and pots. This is also used as a ground cover.

3.Philippine ground Orchids - spathoglottis plicata

There are many kinds of orchids in the world. This is a lilac colour orchid which called as Philippine ground Orchids. it is a member of "orchidaceae" family. Petals of this flower are all similar in size to each other. This plants usually grow in moist places in forest. Now people use it as a garden flower. Now it has a big market demand.

4.Maha bovitiya- Melastoma malabathiricum

This plant known as Maha Mahabovitia in Sri Lanka is known by the scientific name of Melastoma. This plant is a fast growing plant in deciduous forests that produces beautiful liner colored flowers. This flower, consisting of five petals and yellow stamens, is able to attract bees.

5.Brinjal Flowers- Solanum melongena

This is a lilac colour flower which can see in the vegetable cultivation. This is a star shape flower. This is one of the most beautiful creation made by nature by combining yellow and lilac colours.
