How are you guys, I hope you are well. Today I also thought of writing for the #colorpalette contest organized by @olesia. So this week's color code is Cream. To be honest, I could only find a few cream colored flowers. I think cream colored flowers are less compared to other colored flowers. So let's go to the article about cream flowers.

West Indian Lantana (Lantana camara)

This type of flower called West Indian lantana is known botanically as Lantana camara. These are members of the Verbenaceae family. West Indian lantana is known as "Gandapana" in Sri Lanka. You can see varieties with different colors of these flowers with a very strong smell. A plant that is commonly found in scrubs. I caught these flowers on my camera when I was looking for cream colored flowers.

Lotus flower (Nelumbo nucifera)

Commonly known as lotus, the botanical name of this type of flower is Nelumbo nucifera. These belong to the Nelumbonaceae family. Grows in aquatic environments. A type of flower that is specially used for religious activities in Sri Lanka. I took this picture from a lotus plant used for decorating a house.

Anthurium Flower(Anthurium)

I have a friend who grows anthuriums as a hobby. I took a photo of this cream-colored anthurium flower from his flower garden. Its botanical name is Anthurium. A genus of flowers belonging to the Arceae family. Cultivated as an economic crop with market value.

Rose flower (Rosa)

This is a cream colored rose caught on my camera. Rose is not a foreign flower to all of you. That's how close roses are to our lives. Roses belong to the Rosaceae family. Roses are a type of flower that has economic value, spread all over the world in different varieties.

No matter what type or color flowers are, flowers are a wonderful creation of nature. Flowers can calm any troubled mind in a moment. There is nothing in this world that can compare to that beauty.
