Hello friends you all are doing well by the grace of almighty creator. I am well by his infinite grace.
Today I came to participate in @mariam.dariam mam's cooking competition. Today we present to you a popular dish in our rural areas which is eaten with rice. Tomato thin daul. I will share with you the cooking process of this tomato sour daal. This recipe is very delicious to eat. Sour dal in summer is very healthy and very tasty.

All the ingredients I have to cook this tomato thin dal are
*Tomato-1 kg

  • Onion-2
  • Garlic-1
  • Mustard paste- 1 tsp
  • Half teaspoon of cumin seeds
  • Green chili-like quantity
  • Bitter, salt, turmeric-like
  • Oil, ginger-like

First step
In this step I cut the bottom of the tomatoes with a knife. So that the shell can be spread properly.

Step two
In this step, wash the tomatoes well and put a pot on the stove and let the tomatoes boil with water and pepper.

The third step
After doing this step for about 10 minutes, when I saw the skins slowly coming off the tomatoes, I took the pot off the stove and removed the skins from the tomatoes and put them in a bowl.

Fourth step
In this step, I liquefied the tomatoes with the help of a pulse grinder.

The fifth step
In the fifth step, I added cumin seeds, ginger paste, cardamom paste and tetul inside the liquid dal. Then I started to burn it till the balls come out.

Sixth step
In the sixth step, I will add salt and turmeric in between the pulses. Even if the lumps rise, I will continue to knead for another five minutes.

Step seven
In this step I took down the fake tomatoes. After taking it down, in another pot, I boiled onion, garlic and cumin seeds in oil and fried them until brown.

Eighth step
I poured the tomato paste inside the fried onions. After pouring, my tomato sour dal is ready. The tomato sour dal is very tasty to eat and the addition of ginger gives it a nice flavor.

Again it tastes nice with a dash of mustard. Creates another beautiful flavor. It is very tasty to eat with rice. My daughter takes it in a separate bowl and just eats it. Housewives are very fond of cooking and if any vegetable tastes better, they like to cook it more. Tomato dal is very useful and very tasty food for summer. Hope you like my recipe today.
