Висока ціна
Я працюю у достатньо великій хімічній компанії, яка складається з кількох заводів. Загальна кількість працівників перед початком війни тут складала близько 3 тисяч. З початком війни виробничі потужності було зупинено і досі робота так і не відновилася.
В перші дні війни певна кількість працівників нашої компанії добровільно пішли захищати країну. Згодом до них приєдналися інші, які були мобілізовані. Ці люди служать в різних підрозділах - від територіальної оборони до Збройних сил України.
Всім українцям знайома ситуація, коли щодня у місцевих ЗМІ ранок починається з повідомлення про нових місцевих мешканців, що загинули на війні. Але набагато гостріше все це відчувається, коли гинуть ті, кого ви знали. З часом до нас на підприємство теж почали приходити погані новини. Дехто із наших колег захистив нас ціною власного життя.
Вчора в холі будівлі, де працює керівництво компанії, відбулося відкриття меморіальної дошки загиблим захисникам України, які в якийсь період свого життя працювали в нашій компанії.
7 обличь, 7 життів, 7 чиїхось батьків і синів.
Невеличка церемонія відбувалася під час обідньої перерви. В неї входили потрібні слова від потрібних людей і коротка Служба Божа.
Чи були ці люди воїнами перед війною? Коли ми чуємо, що загинув військовослужбовець, багатьом із нас здається: "ну, так, він знав на що йшов, в нього така робота..." Але це не так. Абсолютно всі ці хлопці такі самі як і ми з вами. У них є сім’ї і до війни вони так само як і ми просто собі ходили на роботу. Їхні робочі місця виглядали приблизно отак:
Війна вирвала їх зі звичного ритму життя і кинула в горнило ланцюжка страшних хаотичних подій. За інших обставин вони б сьогодні, як і всі ми, прийшли після 17:00 додому з роботи. Кожного з них хтось би зустрів. Вони б розповідали про свій день, про дурня-начальника, щось би планували на майбутнє. Натомість тепер вони дивляться на нас з меморіальної дошки.

It is heart tearing to see destruction in the name of power . I don't know how people becomes so much ruthless. They also have mother ,sister, friend how they go so blind.
Ukraine was such a country where worldwide students come to pursue their studies.I have heard of best facilities and standards in Colleges in Ukraine. My friend Aditi had gone to Ukraine for pursuing her medical studies. She came back previous year. It has ruined many lives, career and happy life .
I have my all blessings and prayings with you and all the people out there facing war destruction. May your family be safe and warm.
Thank you for your words of support. You are right, before the war many students from different countries studied here. Even when I was in university, I had students from Vietnam studying with me. We helped them with language and everyday life.
When Russia gathered troops near our border, we did not really believe that there would be such a big war. There was no reason for it. You are right again, the only reason is human cruelty and lust for power.
We hope more than anyone that peace will come. And we are grateful to people like you, who do not remain indifferent to human suffering all over the world.

It is nice that you remember these men here and emphasise once again that these are fathers - family people like you and me - who were taken from life completely senselessly.
It would be even nicer if we didn't need heroes! My call to the whole world: Stop this war! Every war!
Stop the killing! Do not kill! Do not send your men to their deaths! Do not supply weapons with which to kill. Talk! Listen to each other and let reason prevail!
No one could have imagined that the war would last so long. 1.5 years have passed, and the end of the war is not in sight. It would be great if everything could be settled through negotiations, but what to talk about with the russians in this case? Imagine a person came to your house, killed your relatives, occupied one room and wants to negotiate with you about the fact that he will live in this room.
It would seem that it is possible to do without that room, if only the bloodshed would stop. We also thought so and gave Crimea without a fight. But the dude saw that he got what he wanted, and he wanted even more.
It turned out that not all people can find a solution through negotiations. Unfortunately.

In fact, we want peace most of all, immediate peace. But under the current situation, we now see no other way to at least a more or less stable peace than the continuation of the war. A crazy paradox.
Some people only stop where they are stopped. That is why we are forced to show strength so that the enemy can disengage from us.
This is already the second summer that I cannot fulfill my promise to my daughter and go to the sea with her. But I at least spend time with her every day. I cannot imagine the extent of the loss of those children whose father or mother will no longer come. I am sure that we, Ukrainians, are the ones who want peace the most. At the same time, we are the ones who have to fight the most. This is a very strange and paradoxical situation.
