I hope you all are well. This is my entry to this week's colourpalette contest organized by @olesia. I really look forward to participating in this contest every week. Because of this contest, I am now used to taking pictures of the flowers I see. This is a really heart happy contest.

This week's color is lilac. Before writing the article, the first thing I did was search the Internet about the color lilac. Lilac is a pale purple belonging to the purple range. Also this color has bright lilac, light lilac and dark lilac shades. Below is a picture I got online of the lilac color.

Orchid Flowers

Scientific name :- Orchidaceae

Orchid is an important imported flower species. There are many species of orchids in yellow, red, white and several other colors. Generally, these flowers do not have a specific smell. Pellets are thick. Orchids belong to the genus Apishaka.

Flowering occurs as a cord. The flowers remain without falling for more than a week after blooming. But it will take some time to flower.

Ash-coloured Fleabane

Scientific name :- Vernonia cinerea (L.) Less.

This is the monarakudumbiya flower. I don't know by what name this is known in other countries. We call this flower by this name. This plant is used medicinally. The flower is small purple and white. The monarakudumbiya plant is also a small leafy plant with a slender stem that is not very tall.

Philippine violet flowers

Scientific name :- Barleria cristata

This flower is known by different names like Philippine violet, bluebell barleria or crested philippine violet. There are also some species here. Among those species, these pictures show the pictures of the philippine violet species in our garden. This flower is a small purple flower with five petals. Philippine violet flowers are a type of flower that is not usually found in almost every garden.
