I hope you all are well. Today I am participating in the colourpalette contest organized by @olesia. Relevant to this week's theme had a picture of a flower color, so it was really easy to find pictures of flowers related to that color. So here are the pictures of my beautiful flowers and some details about them.

Wishbone-flower

Scientific name :- Torenia fournieri

Wishbone-flower is a beautiful species of flowers in purple, pink, white and yellow colors known by the scientific name Torenia fournieri. In addition to the name wishbone-flower, this flower is also known as bluewings. These pictures show dark purple, yellow and light purple flowers. These are a species of annual plant. This plant will usually grow to a height of 12 or 15 inches.

I received these pictures from my friend's garden.

Petrea volubilis

Scientific name :- Petrea volubilis

Commonly known as petrea volubilis, this flower is also known by the names purple wreath, queen's wreath and sandpaper vine. These flowers are a combination of two colors. You can see petrea volubilis flowers with a mixture of dark purple and light purple colors in these pictures. And a special feature of these flowers is that they bloom on one flower on other flower. Here the light purple long petaled flower is topped by the dark purple rounded petaled flower.

This petrea volubilis is a tropical vine that grows like a vine. As these plants are resistant to extreme drought and wind, they can be grown well even in areas with dry climates. As this is a vine plant, it needs a support structure to grow.

Dwarf morning glories

Scientific name :- Evolvulus

Dwarf morning glories are small flowers native to America. This flowering plant grows as a shrub that does not grow very tall. These are named dwarf morning glories because they mean blooming in the morning. There are about 100 species of these flowers, but these pictures show only one of them. I got the pictures of these flowers through a friend of mine.
