My entry to Contest | Color palette | PINK FLOWERS!
If you want to know more about this contest, head on to @olesia's post Contest | Color palette | PINK FLOWERS!. Check the guidelines and follow the rules to qualify.
This is my entry for this week and we have the color pink as the category. All these were taken using my phone's camera and edited using Canva. These were taken at different times.
My first photo is this rose that was taken in one of the parks here where we have a rose garden. There is always a rose there that is in bloom that's why I like going there. There are also different kinds of roses of varying colors as well. The rose garden at located at the main entrance of the park.
This second photo I don't know the name of. Google search is of no help. This was taken during one of our hikes at a mountain here in our place. I see this plant growing wildly around here. I do see them more in trails and mountains where we hike. These flowers are small and can easily be missed.
This next one is a mimosa flower. We call it "makahiya" from the word "hiya" or shy. The leaves of this flower is sensitive to touch or movement such that when touched, the leaves will fold. These are vines with thorns that also grow wildly around here. As a kid, we used to play with them fascinated by the way those leaves fold. This flower look like pompom.
Lastly, I'm sharing this bean flower. We have a small garden where our landlady had some plants on and one time she had green beans. I do watch out for the different flowers that bloom in her garden. I take the opportunity to picture them because the photos may come in handy just like this contest.
Except for the second photo, the rest of the flowers I had to use a clip-on macro lens to my phone to better capture them for my phone's camera has its limit when it comes to taking photos up close. That lens come in handy because these flowers are really small.
Thanks again @olesia for this opportunity to share these photos.
Flowers are meant to be appreciated. They come in different sizes and forms. Stop, take a pause and go appreciate nature.
