Книжковий хробачок, огляд 10: «Я бачу, вас цікавить пітьма» - Little bookworm, review 10: I see you’re interested in darkness

Я трохи спізнилася з оглядом на цю книгу, бо ніяк не могла вирішити нарешті почати її читати. Мене трохи лякало, що в мене відразу завищені очікування від неї, бо я бачила безліч позитивних відгуків від інших бук блогерів.

Сьогодні мова про книгу Іларіона Павлюка «Я бачу, вас цікавить пітьма».

Ох і важко мені буде зараз писати на неї відгук так, щоб у дописі було мінімум спойлерів, бо може хтось після прочитання схочу почитати саму книгу, а я тут вже все розповіла. Та я спробую.

У Андрія непростий період в житті: його вагітна дівчина вкоротила собі віку, дитину змогли витягти, проте вона край недоношена і її життя підтримують апарати. Його друг слідчий кримінального розшуку вирішує, що Андрієві треба на щось переключитися та пропонує йому як кримінальному психологу попрацювати над справою про вбивство жінки та зникнення дитини з вадами розвитку у одному богом забутому селищі. Андрій не погоджується до останнього, аж до того моменту, коли опиняється на вокзалі перед потягом з матеріалами слідства у руках. Врешті решт він все ж таки приїздить у селище, і там починає творитися якась чортівня.

Селище до того мале та занедбане, що у ньому з виконавчих органів лише міський голова та один дільничий. Андрій починає допит мешканців, приходить до відділку, проте він бачить, що дитину ніхто не шукає і навіть відмовляються шукати, обґрунтовуючи це тим, що може і краще, що вона зникла, і може краще смерть ніж життя з вадами розвитку. Щодо вбитої жінки виявляється, що про це взагалі ніхто і нічого не знає, але ж у Андрія у теці з матеріалами слідства є її фото, скривавленого тіла як раз навпроти літер «Я люблю Буськів Сад». У написі не горить буква «С».

Проходить кілька днів, Андрій прокидається вранці з наміром продовжити розслідування, ще раз хоче опитати мешканців, та кожен, до кого він звертається, наразі не памʼятає ні їх діалогу про зниклу дівчину, ні того, що ця дитина взагалі була…

Я чесно скажу, що перед початком читання я розраховувала на те, що це суто звичайний детектив, проте українського автора і саме це вплинуло на моє бажання прочитати книгу. Я була приголомшена, коли виявилося, що це взагалі- то містичний трилер, ще й з такими поворотами сюжету, що подих перехоплює.

Дуже раджу цю книгу для читання, книжковий хробачок рекомендує:)

I'm a little late with my review of this book because I couldn't decide to finally start reading it. I was a little scared that I immediately had too high expectations from her, because I saw a lot of positive reviews from other book bloggers.

Today we are talking about Hilarion Pavliuk's book "I see, you are interested in the dark".

Oh, and it will be difficult for me to write a review of it now so that there are a minimum of spoilers in the post, because maybe someone will want to read the book itself after reading it, and I have already told everything here. But I will try.

Andrii is going through a difficult period in his life: his pregnant girlfriend shortened her life, the child was able to be removed, but she is extremely premature and her life is supported by devices. His friend, a criminal investigator, decides that Andrey needs to switch to something and offers him as a criminal psychologist to work on the case of the murder of a woman and the disappearance of a child with developmental disabilities in a godforsaken village. Andriy does not agree to the last, until the moment when he finds himself at the station in front of the train with the investigation materials in his hands. In the end, he still arrives in the village, and some devilry begins to happen there.

The village is so small and neglected that it has only the mayor and one precinct officer as executive bodies. Andriy starts questioning the residents, comes to the station, but he sees that no one is looking for the child and they even refuse to look for it, justifying it with the fact that it is better that she disappeared, and maybe death is better than life with developmental disabilities. As for the murdered woman, it turns out that no one knows anything about it at all, but Andriy has a photo of her in a folder with investigation materials, her bloodied body just opposite the letters "I love Buskiv Sad". The letter "C" is not lit in the inscription.

A few days pass, Andriy wakes up in the morning with the intention of continuing the investigation, he wants to interview the residents once again, but everyone he turns to does not remember either their dialogue about the missing girl, or the fact that this child even existed...

I will honestly say that before I started reading, I expected that it was a purely ordinary detective story, but the Ukrainian author and this influenced my desire to read the book. I was stunned when it turned out to be a mystical thriller in general, even with such twists and turns that take your breath away.

I highly recommend this book to read, a bookworm recommends :)
