Contest: Object Of The Week - Chocolates From Germany
Hello everyone. I am back for this week's edition of this amazing contest, Object Of The Week, hosted by @strecoza. You can check out the contest post with the rules here. Do read up and join us in this very challenging contest.
The object of the week is:
CHOCOLATE
My daughter who lives and works in Germany just very recently came home here in the Philippines for a vacation. She had not visited home since she left more than 2 years ago. We were all excited about her visit and when she arrived it was a very very happy time for us in the family. It was at that time that I suddenly realized just how much I missed her and how I was just so thankful that I was able to see her and hold her in my arms again.
Of course, as is customary with us in the Philippines, vacationing relatives who work far away from home, whether in other parts of the country or abroad, are expected to bring presents or small gifts to family members. This is regarded as a sign of respect, thoughtfulness and love for those that have been left behind and have not been seen for a long time. My daughter is not an exception. She actually, to my mind, surpassed the expectations from her.
Why do I say this? Well, for starters, she brought so much chocolates not just for the family but for other friends and relatives. These chocolates are the kind that can't be easily found in our country. They were Swiss and German made chocolates and were utterly delicious. I will not go in detail about the other presents she brought along. I will just concentrate on the chocolates as this is the object of this week's contest.
The following are just some of the different chocolates that she brought for us.
The last two photos are those that have not yet been opened and are slated for as presents to other relatives. All the rest have already been eaten with extreme delight such as these two which only the boxes are left.
Ahhhh. So sweet. So delicious. No wonder they say chocolates are food for the gods. But nothing beats this simple quote about chocolate that sums up one of the best experiences in life.
All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt. Charles M. Schulz
My daughter just surely showed us how much she loves and missed us all. Thank you so much.
And that ends my post and participation for this week's Object of the Week contest. I hope you enjoyed and liked it as much as I did doing this post. Good luck to all the other participants. And may everyone remain safe and healthy and may peace follow you all the rest of your days.

Thank you so much 🙂 This is a very pleasant surprise. Thank you once again.
