in Ukraine on Steemlast year (edited)

I hope all my dear friends are doing well. Happy new year everyone..!!

First of all, holding this kind of competition is a very valuable matter. Because, many new creations are presented and born. And we do not know the old local design is socialized through this. This is really worth it. People with different skills become the life of the society. It is a great pleasure and support for them to share their skills in Steemit.

Actually I said that, some people learn many things they don't know through this. And the creative ability of the designer develops. Also, even if one knows how to set up a design, over time one may forget how to set it up correctly. Ithim helps all these things through this handiwork contest. That's why I first brought a contest like this @strecoza Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Ok friends, today I am going to create a Kurumbatti machine that was created by their parents in the past for the children of Sri Lanka to play and have fun. This is a very popular toy in the past. I have also played with this as a child. Unfortunately, with the modernization of the world, such things are becoming distant from the society. The children now have no understanding or knowledge about this.

Today I will tell you step by step how to make a Kurumbatti machine. In particular, no money is spent on this. We can get the necessary ingredients for this from the coconut tree in the environment.

I will show below the ingredients required to make a kurambatti machine.

Coriander01
Coconut leaves03
Small knife01

This is really all that is needed. Even without a small knife we can make this. You may not be familiar with the word Kurambatti. Friends, the fruit of the coconut tree falls off the tree and falls to the ground due to various reasons at a young age. This usually happens during periods of high sunshine.

Let's make a coriander machine now. I will explain it to you step by step.

Step 01

As seen in the above photo, take three raw coconut leaves and separate them from the leaves of the leaves. You can use a small knife for that.

Step 02

Coriander has a few small bark-like petals near the nut. Get rid of it. Look at the above image if the image is unclear to you. A small knife can be used if it is difficult to remove the bark.

Step 03

Then take a previously cleaned irata to the head area of the rind (that is the side with the rind removed) and press the two ends of the irata into the rind. You can see clearly in the photo.

Step 04

Now take that kurumbatti, pierce another even kurumbatti right in the middle. Remember that there is an even protection shape that you drilled earlier. Use an even one a little longer than that arch.

Step 05

We have now come to the final stage of the Kurumbatti machine. Finally, all you have to do is fold the remaining square in half. Then send it through the middle standing as shown in the picture. From the side of entering the arch, it should come out from the other side as well. (Left side evenly, middle right side evenly, then left side to come out evenly) The exact zig zag method should be used here. If what I said is clear to you, we have finished making a Kurumbatti machine.

You might not know how to play with a Kurumbatti machine. Friends, you remember there used to be sewing machines. There were not those that operate with electricity as soon as the switch is turned on like now. The sewing machine is operated by stepping on the foot. There was a belt going up and down from the lower circle to the upper circle in that machine. It is with the help of this belt that the needle goes up and down while the circle rotates and the fabric is sewn. While going up and down like that, a small sound came out of the machine. A sound like "tucks-tucks" came out of the sewing machine. Dear friends, such a sound comes out from the Kurumbatti machine.

You need to hold the two screws on both sides and rotate it. Then there is a sound like a sewing machine. We used to play with this when we were kids. Beautiful memories still remember the past life. I feel like going back to that time.

I think you have many memories like this. I invite my friends @mariita52 @hasina78 @monirm you three and all friends to share with us if you have any designs like this. If there is something important you want to take away from my post then definitely get it.

Thank you to @everyone of you who read my posts and support me.
