Culinary Сontest | Muhammara
Today I want to present you a quick, easy and very tasty recipe. You can cook without any special culinary skills, and then you will lick your fingers.
- Peel the tomato and onion and cut them into slices. Put them in a blender or food processor. Add the peeled and coarsely chopped garlic clove, tomato puree, pepper puree and sugar. Grind until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a bowl and add the tahini. Stir. Add the lemon juice and mix again. Season with coriander, cumin and salt. Stir. Add olive oil. Stir and taste. If needed, add more tahini or salt.
- Crush the peanuts (or walnuts), add them and mix. Add the breadcrumbs and mix. Finally, pour a little olive oil, mix and let the sauce stand in the refrigerator.
- Serve muhammara for breakfast or eat with chips.
Necessary products:
1 tomato, 1 onion, 1 clove of garlic, 1 tbsp. tomato puree, 1 tbsp. pepper puree, 1 tsp. sugar, 50 g nuts (peanuts/walnuts), 2 tbsp. tahini, 2 tsp. lemon juice, 1 tsp. ground coriander, 1 tsp. ground cumin, a pinch of red pepper, salt, olive oil, 2 tbsp. breadcrumbs
