Culinary of Dried fish with potato & eggplant

Sometimes, I don't feel like eating fish and meat all the time. Occasionally, I crave something different. From that desire, today I want to share a simple recipe with you. The name of my recipe today is "Dried Fish with Potato and Eggplant Curry." I will share step-by-step how I made this recipe.

Recipe Steps:

  • To make the recipe, I first gathered all the necessary ingredients. For today’s recipe, I used four medium-sized eggplants, two potatoes, some dried fish, and other essential ingredients.

  • First, I cleaned and cut the potatoes, eggplants, onions, and green chilies. Once everything was prepared, I went to the kitchen and measured a small amount of dried fish, which I lightly fried in a pan. After frying, I washed the dried fish several times with clean water.

  • Next, I proceeded with the following steps.
    I placed a pan on the stove, and once it was slightly heated, I added oil. When the oil was hot, I added chopped onions and green chilies to the pan and stirred with a spoon.

  • After a while, I added cumin, panch phoron spice mix, turmeric, and salt, stirring continuously.

  • When the ingredients turned brown, I added the dried fish and continued stirring well so that it mixed thoroughly with all the ingredients.

  • Then, I added the sliced eggplants and potatoes and mixed them well with a spoon. I cooked this for about four to five minutes. After that, I added a little water, stirred, and covered the pan with a lid. After 10 minutes, I checked to see if everything was cooked properly and adjusted the salt and spice as needed. After about ten more minutes, I uncovered the pan and found my recipe was cooked and tender.

  • It didn’t take too long to prepare. You can try making this recipe anytime; it turned out delicious.
