Every day, I like to introduce you to new blogs. Since I enjoy taking pictures more than anything else, I usually share diverse photos. Beautiful whiteness. This flower is our first discovered flower in Bangladesh. It was named after Bangladesh. So flower lovers have special attraction towards this flower. This flower has a special status in Bengali literature. Spring is the blooming season of this Madhabi Lata. Bees, butterflies and other nature lovers regularly visit the flowers.

The English name of Madhabi Lata is Hiptage and the scientific name is Hiptage benghalensis. They are plants of the Madhabi Lata family. It is a large creeping plant. They take over the tree on which they climb. Its leaves are sub-circular in appearance. They are in opposite positions. Leaf heads are pointed. Madhabi spreads beauty in white petals.

Madhabi Lata is the first christened from Bangladesh. If you look carefully at its scientific name, it can be seen that there is a part of the word 'Benghalensis'. From this name it is understood that it is the 'origin' flower of Bangladesh. Madhabi Lata is a plant of Bengal and was first discovered in Bangladesh.

Although its flowers are more in summer and monsoon, it blooms every few days throughout the year. That is why it is called a perennial flower. If the creeper grows into a tree, it is long-lived. Its native habitat is South Africa and Indo-Malaysia. Some think that it is a tree from Malaya country and was brought here and planted.
