Beauty of Creativity : Yellow Spider

Today I want to show you a picture of an anglerspider that I found on a plant. Dolomedes is a genus of large spiders in the knife family. They are also known as fishing spiders, raft spiders, dock spiders or dock spiders. Almost all Dolomedes species are semiaquatic, except for D. albineus which is a tree dweller.

You can see that in the photo I'm showing here, this spider lives in its trap nest among the plant leaf rolls.

If you zoom in on this image of a spider, it shows how a web is made to trap other insects into it. And after that of course the spider will eat its prey.
