Most of the crop fields have been converted into ponds. And in all these ponds various species including pangus tilapia are cultured. We have been associated with this fish farming for a long time. But our fish farming started yesterday with pangas fish. That is the year 2006. Since then we have been farming pangas fish. This fish is cultivated in most of the ponds in our area. Right now you are noticing the fisherman brothers staying in the pond to catch fish, mainly panga and other fish. Three thousand pangas fish were given in this pond. After hatching, the fish are fed for a long six months. After that the fish become about one and a half to two kg. So the fishermen were called to catch the big fish out of it.

We know the fish market is not always one rate. When more fish are farmed, become bigger, then all the fish farmers start without fish in the market. And then the price of fish started decreasing little by little. Just like this, before the price of fish decreases, everyone tries to sell fish to get less. So the big fishes are handpicked and sold. We also wanted to sell all the fish that had grown up in the pond. It can be seen that it is possible to buy and feed small fish with the money of the sold fish. Meanwhile, due to reduced gathering of fish in the pond, small fish are likely to grow faster. And through this, other fish, including small fish, get a chance to grow.

Therefore, in order to maintain the growth of fish in the pond, the larger fish are sometimes sold. But the greatest benefit to the fish is that if the net is pulled in occasionally, the mud at the bottom is turned over and the gas is removed. Fish grow faster and stay disease-free when ponds are de-gassed. Therefore, farmers have to think about everything. Water should be kept within a limit regularly at noon. In case of disease, various treatments have to be done to prevent the disease. In order to give the small fish a chance to grow faster, the bigger fish are sometimes caught and sold in this way. And this is how the fish farming continues among the farmers. In this way we cultivate fish in several ponds. However, we always try to keep the small ponds stocked with fish fry. And in the large ponds where pangas fish can be cultivated, we provide pangas fish. However, in this way, the nets are drawn around the pond, and then the big fish are taken from among the fish. And that's how fishing goes.
