Leaf Beetle Life [Shiny Like a Diamond]
This time I will share with you all about the leaf beetle that I found today. Leaf beetles generally have their own group, and this beetle has quite a lot of species in the forest. And maybe there's a bigger one than the one I got today. This beetle is too small to even be seen and besides this beetle is very rare to fly and prefers to stay still on the leaves.
This beetle has two horns on its head and is striped and also has a beautiful shell too, I don't know if it's a horn or an antenna that is in the leaf beetle family.
Here this beetle eats young leaves and maybe an adult leaf beetle will eat all types of plant tissue, there are some beetles that are serious pests for farmers and I also don't know if this beetle is also a serious pest for farmers. Because there are many kinds of beetles in this forest like potato beetle and kuta beetle and so on.
Of all the beetles, perhaps only a few serve as vectors of plant diseases and others may be beneficial because of their use in the biocontrol of invasive weeds. There are several colors that this duan beetle has such as in shiny yellow to red or metallic blue-green colors and have very strange shapes and with the colors and shapes of these beetles they are very popular among other insect collectors.
Not only that which makes them popular, there is one more interesting thing about these leaf beetles which is that they also often have a metallic luster or some shiny color like diamonds. Most beetles have antennae that are balanced and shorter than their bodies. Most species of beetles have wings, although their level of development and ability to fly varies greatly. And although these beetles can fly they cannot fly far and high from other insects. This is all I can give you, best wishes and thanks.
And here I will end my story by giving a few details of the cellphone camera that I used to photograph this beetle and also I will tell you the tools I used to get this picture, and the location of the beetle that I got today.
