MY ORIGINAL POETRY: RELATIONSHIPS
Beautiful yet fragile little things they are
Like precious jewels they ought to be treated
They hold all the colors of the rainbow
For as common as they are, so are they rare.
We spend all our lives trying to build them
Hoping that the foundations are enough to last centries
Without them we are empty vessels
For as precious life is, so are relationships.
But being humans, we build and destroy
We lose sight of how important they are,
We fail to appreciate them,
And like an unstable building on quaking land, they fall.
Hold them at heart for they are dear
Cherish and teassure them for they are precious,
Let him who has ears hear,
Let him who knows not their importance understand.
