Macrophotography - Coster Tawny's butterfly mating

Hi everybody

When the afternoon arrived, the sun began to set to the western horizon. On the way home while enjoying the evening atmosphere, I saw a butterfly (Tawny Coster), which was mating between male and female butterflies, on a palm leaf.

Coster Tawny is a species of small, 53-64 millimeters, leathery, winged butterfly that is common in prairie and scrub habitats. It belongs to the Nymphalidae or brush-footed butterfly family. It has weak fluttery flight. It is avoided by most insect predators. This species, and the tawny coster, are the only two Indian representatives of the predominantly African Acraeini tribe.

The male is dark orange while the female is pale yellow. The forewings have two transverse black spots within the cell, a broader spot on the stem end of the cell and a series of black spots in spaces 2-6 and 10. The costal margins and tips are black. The hind wings have dark spots within the cells, a basal series of 4-5 black spots, subcostal spots and a series of disc spots. The Termen is edged with a black marginal band that has a series of tiny flecks in the embedded base color.
