THE BEAUTY OF BLACK ANTS

On this occasion I want to share some pictures that I address to the steemian.

BLACK ANT

Carpenter ant species live both outdoors and indoors in damp, rotting, or hollow wood, most often in forest environments. They cut "gallery" into the wood grain to provide passageways to allow movement between different parts of the nest. Certain parts of a house, such as around and under windows, eaves, decks and verandas, are more likely to be overgrown with carpenter ants because these areas are most susceptible to moisture.

These ants are hunters who usually eat parts of other dead insects or substances derived from other insects.
