Yellow Paper Wasp Photography ~ Beauty of Creativity
Good Day Everyone
Hello there community members, I hope you all are well and doing good. Today I am sharing some macro clicks of a wasp. I sold my Canon 90D but my Samsung NX Mini is still able to capture some high-resolution clicks. I use an external macro lens on a 9-27mm lens. All these images are cropped to a decent detail and edited in Adobe Lightroom. After a long time I use Samsung NX Mini, I use the Manual mode of the camera with a high shutter speed and use flash to capture these photos.
Some pictures were overexposed because of the use of flash in day time but I capture images in RAW format and fox the light in the post-work. It almost gives the since detail after covering the exposure. I try to capture the wasp from different angles. It is not the same wasp in all the pictures. 2 or three wasps were flying near me. Additional Information
The scientific name for the Yellow Paper Wasp is Polistes olivaceus. Wasps measuring between 18 and 25 millimeters in length construct their water-resistant nests by combining saliva with the fibers of dead wood and plant stems. Paper wasps are also referred to as umbrella wasps because of the shape of their nests. source
