Green chickpeas
Good Day Everyone
I hope everyone is doing well. Today, my mother asked me to buy green chickpeas from the market. It was almost time for the Asr prayer. After praying at the mosque, I returned home and checked with my mother how much chickpeas we needed. She said 1 KG, so I went to the market and bought 1 KG of green chickpeas. I also picked up some spinach (palak) for making pakoras for iftari.
Back at home, I started peeling the green chickpeas. It was a slow process because I first had to pluck the peas from their pods and then peel them off. It took me almost 30 minutes to finish. Meanwhile, my mother cut potatoes and started cooking the green chickpeas.
The dish turned out to be delicious and healthy. I even took some pictures of the green chickpeas.
